Japan’s earthquake and tsunami victims continues to grow. Japanese police records, the death toll has exceeded 2,000 people. Most have not been identified.
This amount is still far above the Japanese Government official data that put the death toll around 800 people.
A television footage shows the tsunami waves swept dozens of cars, boats, and buildings in Tokyo. A large boat carried by a wave of direct ocean waves crashing into a retaining wall in Kesennuma in Miyagi Prefecture. Miyagi prefecture rumored to be experiencing the most severe damage due to have a location closest to the epicenter.
